Back to commercial interior design

From initial client meeting to project completion of transforming an empty building with multiple prior uses into a simple, elegant and stylish working environment in a short time was a real challenge

Dunedin

The building had many identities in its lifetime, each change leaving behind an element of its previous purpose. With a clear view of the space I shaped the design concept to meet the needs of a growing team; making the environment work for them was the highest priority and pushed the boundaries of traditional standard office design to achieve a great result.

By the time I complete a transformation of this scale, there is a real feeling of satisfaction and pride in handing over a completed space ready for clients not only to work in but enjoy as well.
Annie Simpson-King - Commercial Interior Designer

With only four weeks from acceptance of quote to completion, this project had a very tight time frame. By combining our experienced team with committed subcontractors we achieved the deadlines with relative ease. The combination of two practical clients, the University of Otago as landlord and NZGL as tenant, along with precision planning were key factors in the success of this project.
