Queenstown
Alan, Louise and Josh from Five Mile Café ltd, for whom we have previously designed and built three other cafes, approached us to do the same in a new site in Queenstown. This time they wanted us to go one step further to create an award winning café and one that fitted in well with the Queenstown market.
There were two real challenges for us in this project. Firstly was the consent process with the local council but we got that moved through in a timely way. Secondly the roof went on only several weeks before the café was due to open, but through teamwork with the building contractor and the client, the café opened virtually on-time.
We decided to select Designability and Miller Studios for this project as we have worked together on other projects and it is a continued relationship based on trust, reputation and ability to get the components of the design and build brought together on time and on budget.
Significant outcomes for us resulting from our association with you are good coordination and delivery on time. You communicated well with us and your excellent workmanship & problem solving were admirable.
We presented our own visionary of design and layout to the Designability/Miller's team and you have absorbed these aspects and integrated your own experience and tradesman ship to achieve our picture.
Success is paved with potholes and pitfalls but end result speaks for itself.
